2. Essaouira: The Coastal Charmer
Even though it is not as famous as the other large cities in Morocco, Essaouira cannot be said to be forgotten. This fisherman’s village with a great number of old buildings and the residents’ rather relaxed attitude is ideal for a beach holiday.
What to Explore:
1. Medina:
Discover the old town belonging to the list of UNESCO, bazaars, fish restaurants, walls, and towers.
2. Skala de la Ville:
Stroll around the city, taking the walls and the sea as one of the city sides.
3. Beach:
Sunbathe on the sandy beaches that can be seen almost stretching for miles or have an adrenaline rush with water activities such as kite surfing and windsurfing.
4. Travel Tips:
It is suggested to visit this place in the off-peak months which falls in the middle of summer and winter that is April up to May and September up to November.
Eat seafood especially from the seafood streets because the city is famous for seafood.
